Thai on a Terrace in MTL’s Village
901 Rue Sherbrooke E, Montréal, QC H2L 1L3
Pamika Thai Brasserie in the Village serves delicious Thai and fusion dishes in a creative way. Sip on drinks served in pineapples and taste the spice of Thailand, all while relaxing on a terrace right here in Montreal!
Our evening was definitely pineapple-themed. The large (and inexpensive) drinks came in hollowed-out pineapples, as did our pineapple fried rice. I went to Pamika the day after I returned from vacation, and felt like I was still on a tropical island.
Aside from the tropical treats, the pad thai was some of the best I’ve had in the city. The rice noodles were perfectly coated in the sweet and savoury sauce- I could have finished the entire dish myself (in fact, I think next time I will order one for myself). The red curry seafood was flavourful and mildly spicy, but lacking slightly in portion-size. And the ginger chicken was another favourite all around.
If you’re looking for a chill night out sipping on drinks served in pineapples, or even slurping Tom Yum soup out of a coconut- this is the place.
