A Mad Brunch Party
Brunch at Soubois feels just like a scene out of Alice and Wonderland. An enchanted forest is the backdrop for a MAD brunch on any given Sunday. If you have been to Soubois for dinner or bottle-service, don’t expect the same feel. Brunch is whimsical, but relaxed and you won’t have any trouble getting in (as long as you reserve in advance). Let me tell you a little bit about the Soubois media brunch I attended this past weekend…
Walk down a few flights of stairs into an underground forest. Dine under giant wooden trees to the sound of a perfectly curated playlist. Whilst sipping on your mimosa, watch the wine-cellar fill with a colourful smoke blanketing the restaurant in a magical haze.
The food is just as impressive (and magical) as the décor. Think gold-dusted smoked salmon topped with caviar to dress your bagel, a stack of English tea pancakes with blueberry sauce and maple syrup, and a whole lobster with hollandaise sauce and caviar. Brunch at Soubois is extravagant and decadent and should be added to your brunch short-list ASAP. I would highly recommend for a birthday brunch, Sunday morning debrief with the girls, or for a regular Sunday Brunch (because, why not?), but this place definitely has a special feel. As you might have guessed, brunch is pricey (depending on what you order), but there really is no other brunch experience like it in the city, so go for an occasion, or just to treat yo’ self.
