Brunch with a Mediterranean Flare

112 Rue McGill #1, Montréal, QC H2Y 2E5

I have been to Ikanos for dinner several times and was already a huge fan, so I did not hesitate when I was asked to try out their new Sunday brunch.

One of my favourite things about this restaurant is how knowledgeable the staff are. They are experts on drink and wine pairings and always have the perfect recommendations from the menu.

So we gave them carte blanche and had them select our cocktails and brunch dishes! Below are photos and descriptions of each dish. I cannot even choose a favourite – I really loved them all, but their take on a lobster eggs benedict is heavenly (those lobster cakes….) and the omelette with fresh mozarella and maitake mushrooms is unlike any omelette I have had before – smoky and salty with only the freshest local ingredients.

Check out all of the pictures and details below and book yourself a spot for brunch next Sunday!
